Another day off, hooray! I woke up to a foggy kind-of-a-morning, but still gorgeous. Another blessed day from the Lord Almighty~!
Today, I started my morning early—tidying up the bedroom and kitchen and went to the grocery store to stock up the fridge before I leave out of town. I had to make sure, my boyfriend has food to cook tonight and all he gotta do when he gets off of work is to come home and cook dinner. No need to do grocery shopping and less hassle for him.
I have decided to visit my mom and grandma in our lake house property, which is located 1.5 hours outside of the city. Although, this weather make me want to stay home and be lazy again (like yesterday) I decided today that I will be more productive and see my mom for her birthday celebration tomorrow. When I was at the grocery store, I bought two bouquets for her: one from me and the other one from my boyfriend. He decided to pitch in after learning that tomorrow is her birthday.
I was almost ready for my road trip. But something is amiss. What’s a road trip without a cup of coffee? Getting a coffee is a priority on my agenda. I drove 30 minutes outside of the city, decided to stop by at McDonald to order my all-time favorite—caramel latte—perfect for the foggy, humid day. Okay, let’s be honest to us, coffee lovers, a cup of coffee can make any stressful, horrible day turned beautiful. I’m simple. If I’m in a bad mode just take me to the nearest coffee shop and order me a cup of coffee and I’ll be happy and content.
I spent the last hour writing this post and then a glitch wiped all the hundreds of words I typed out. I guess the Lord does not want me to share them, so they shall stay with me and only me. I’ll share my mini-trip pictures instead. To show the highlights of the trip. They don’t justify how beautiful the drive was for me, but here they are:
